5 Years of the Four-Day Workweek at Terracom: More Time for What Matters Most

At Terracom, we believe that a company's success begins with its people. That's why we continue to invest in initiatives that help our employees achieve a healthier balance between their professional and personal lives.

This summer marked the 5th consecutive year that Terracom implemented its four-day workweek during June and July, with no reduction in salary or employee benefits.

When we first introduced this initiative five years ago, our goal was simple: to give our people more time to rest, spend time with their families, pursue personal interests, and enjoy life outside of work. Today, we can confidently say that the four-day workweek has become an integral part of Terracom's culture.

One Extra Day, Countless Ways to Enjoy It

Everyone makes the most of the extra day in their own way.

For some, it's about spending more quality time with family. For others, it's an opportunity to take care of personal responsibilities without using vacation days. Many choose to travel, relax, explore new places, or simply recharge before the next workweek.

The stories our colleagues shared this year perfectly capture what this initiative means to them.

• One colleague explained that after a demanding winter, the extra day allows her to spend more meaningful time with her daughter, who now calls Fridays "her favorite day of the week".
• Another colleague summed up the experience in just one sentence «On Fridays, the only report I check is the UV index».
• Others shared how the extra day has made everyday life less stressful by giving them the flexibility to manage personal errands during the week, leaving more time to truly relax.
• Some even took advantage of the long weekends to travel and discover new destinations while combining remote work with exploration—turning every extended weekend into a new adventure.
