On Friday, 30 October 2026, Terracom welcomed Greece’s Deputy Prime Minister, Kostis Hatzidakis, to its headquarters as part of his official visit to Ioannina.
Terracom representatives Stelios Gkouskos and Dimitris Zacharakis presented the company’s work, its international presence and the role of artificial intelligence in product development. The discussion focused on the opportunities new technologies create for Greek businesses and on Ioannina’s potential as a technology hub.
Speaking about Terracom, Mr Hatzidakis highlighted the contribution of export-oriented companies to regional development. In remarks translated from Greek, he said:
“Export-oriented companies that draw on scientific talent from Ioannina and the surrounding area are showing the way forward for growth. I’m genuinely impressed by what the Terracom team showed us here today. I want to publicly commend them for their work. It is our responsibility to create the conditions for more businesses like these to start up and grow, both in Epirus and across Greece. That is how we support regional development in practice.”
Based in Ioannina, Terracom develops workforce management and safety solutions and serves more than 1,200 customers in over 90 countries. Artificial intelligence is central to our strategy. We build it into our products to help businesses automate routine processes, improve productivity and make day-to-day work easier for their teams.
Our international presence is built on the expertise and work of our team in Ioannina. We continue to invest in our people and develop products here that businesses use around the world.
We thank Mr Hatzidakis for visiting Terracom and for taking an interest in our work and plans for the future.
